Man! I guess the most opposition comes all at the same time. When do
the blessings come? Thats my question. Seems as though things just
stay bad? It was hard to hear that Brad had died last email. And now
this email i hear Sooty died. Not to add on all the great things that
are happening in the mission field... not! Golly, but as a good
missionary should i will be positive! Or i'll try. And i'll tell you
how my week went.... Here it goes.

 Tuesday 3-20-12
Well Elder Seumanu Left :( I love that kid. He brought the spirit
into our apartment so strongly! He is such a good missionary. But
we helped him load up his things into the car and hugged him goodbye.
Knowing that when we got back to the apartment later that Elder Lane
would be Elder Damuni's new companion... Oh man....

Well we went off to brother Micklesons home and helped him prune the
grapes. So dad when i get home, i choose to prune the grapes instead
of shredding! Haha you can shred i'll prune cuz now i'm a pro at it!
Brother Mickleson had also bought an AR-15. He's a fanatic when it
comes to guns. Doesnt like shooting, just likes to own and look at.
But i was showing him how his AR-15 works and stuff and he was
impressed. Its crazy how almost EXACT airsoft rifles are alike to the
real deal. Anyways his gun has a holographic scope on it made by L3.
 Super cool!

Then we changed at his house and went to a set appointment with an
investigator. Which cancelled... we got there and nobody would open
the door. That always happens with this specific person.

Then we ate lunch at panda express because we dont have the miles to
go home and eat food at home. But panda still makes me sick... as
much as i love panda, i always get sick from it, probably because i
ate it so much when i was working at the mall. We also got to see the
Google Earth Veiw Car. It is everywhere around here right now! Its
so cool. Just a dinky little care with this ball on top of it that
has a gazillion cameras inside so it can take pictures of everthing
 around. Its pretty sweet.

Then we talked to a guy at the door. Someone who we've been trying to
meet with for a long time.... But cant really do anything with him.
He's had all the lessons and is on parole so he's not really going
 anywhere....

Then we went back home and took Elder Lane and Elder Damuni shopping.
It is so weird having him back around...

Then we went to the church and had a lesson with Kameron Roberson.
Who is getting baptized April 21'st. He is having his Uncle Baptize
him and he would like me to Confirm him. So that will be sweet!

Brother Osman then picked us up for dinner. It was good, he's an
awesome guy. I guess they are going out towards sandy soon. They
have a daughter who lives out in Heriman. So i told them if they want
they should stop by the house.

Then we had an appointment with a family that we found. They wanted
us to come over and talk to their young boy who is not making the best
of choices. And we taught them how the gospel can help and the mother
said "yes we would like to learn more" so we are now begining to teach
them. David, Laticia, Brandon, and Brian.

 Wednesday 3-21-12
We had district meeting. The whole district has changed. The Elders
From Morro Bay have been... Deleted i guess? The morro bay ward no
longer has missionaries at all... so thats weird. We're down two
 missionaries in our district.

Then me and Elder Marquez went to In'n'out where his aunt and uncle
met us. They were passing through to go to disney land and they
bought us lunch and dropped off a whole bunch of presents for him.
Since his birthday was recent. They were really nice.

Then we contacted potentials ALL DAY. We found one lady who was
interested in family history. So we took her a Fan chart flier that
had the family history info on it and stuff. I hope she comes!

We had dinner with the McFarlands. They are both disabled...
unfortunately. But they are super nice and willing to feed us. But
unfortunately you never know what to expect when you go over. I love
them to death but the food... eh.... This time it was pork chops in
rice covered in cream of mushroom. Not the worste. I kept telling
myself it could have been much worse as i chewed and chewed on my
 crunchy rice.

Then we had a meeting with our ward mission leader.

And we came home and the other elders came in and had a HUGE fight,
which i ended up breaking up. I knew these fights were coming. I
warned my companion that it was going to be a rough transfer and that
we'd most likely have to get involved. Well while that stuff was
going down my companion got depressed and shut down because of the
yelling and i had to go break it up and call the zone leaders and
talk to them both. I'm trying my hardest to not take sides but its so
hard since i know exactly what Elder Lane is like. I know exactly
what Damuni is going through. But i'm not taking sides and i have to
help them both... They both ask me to come talk to them privately all
 the time... Lucky me.

 Thursday 3-22-12
We went to the Schibers home and did some service. De-nailing boards
and moving them. Encountered many lizards and frogs. There are a TON
of frogs out here! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! ITS SO ANNOYING AT NIGHT TIME!
 RIBBIT RIBBIT!

They fed us lunch and then took us home.

We got all changed up and left to go to do work. Knocked doors ALL
day... nobody really home.... Dinner called and said they'd have to
order us a pizza. So we went home and they brought the pizza. We had
a lot of pizza left over

 Friday 3-23-12
So there was a nice big fight in the morning between the other elders.
I had to break it up and call the zone leaders again. They ended up
coming over and talking to them... Fun stuff. But Elder Lane packed
his bags and was going to go home. But then changed his mind later.
You see elder lane has some physical problems as well as.... problems
with everything else. He has a kidney stone, and its small enough to
pass but its stuck and it causes him a lot of pain. He needs to go
get surgery or something to get it out but for some reason the mission
president wont let him do it? He's pretty much begged the mission
president but they dont want him to? Our mission president is...
 new....

We went to the church and did our weekly planning.. I decided i needed
to get my companion to take some chrage cuz he's just kind of coasting
off me leading. so i told him to lead planning. and it was long and
tedious and he took a while staring at his hands and the floor to
figure out what we were going to teach our 9 year old investigator. I
finally gave up and told him we would leave for lunch.

I made lunch for myself... new experiment. Mac'n'cheese with chopped
up hot dogs and eggs! Crazy i know. It wasnt that good... haha
figures. But my companion just was shut down... it happens sometimes
and he just does nothing but stare at his hands or put his head on a
 table.

We had dinner with the Nichols family!

And elder marquez pretty much Led us through the day... and no one was
 really home :(

 Saturday 3-24-12
I made elder Marquez pretty much lead all day saturday too. We taught
an investigator in the morning. She had some really good questions
about what we believe and what our stand was on some stuff... So it
 was a good lesson.

Then we went to see a former investigator. He's 12 and his mom is a
less active. he was home just chillin and his mom was sick so we just
spoke to him at the door for a while.

Then we came home and ate leftover pizza

Then we contacted a lot of potentials and had a lesson with a guy
named dennis who is somewhat crazy. he tries to bash with us. This
time he tried to prove to us that Jesus Christ was Melcezidek. he was
like "have you ever heard of Melcezidek before?" and we were like
"uh... sounds familiar" and then he went on ranting about how he's got
all these crazy interpretations of the bible and stuff.... odd. We
probably wont see him much anymore, he doesnt really listen to us
 anyways.

then we contacted a lot more potentials.

Then had dinner. Which was leftover pizza again. Nobody signed up.

Then i asked my comp what we were going to do next becuase he was the
one to plan the day but he didnt know and got depressed and stared at
the floor FOREVER! Wasted so much time. But i guess he'll get the
hang of it. He has to.

Anyways that was pretty much my week. Not a whole lot going on. and
 just craziness at the apartment.

I hope all is well at home.... Even though its kind of crazy there
too! I'm praying for you all so i'm hoping those prayers arent for
nothing! Waiting for those blessings for working hard.

I love you all and miss you tons!

 Love,

 Elder Crapo!
