Subject: I feel like i was just here... in this spot... writing you an email.

Well another week has flown by! I'm now 10 months out! Just hit the double digits... ugh, how unfortunate! I cant believe how fast everything is going.  Makes my stomach hurt thinking about it! Man! Oh well... Here's my week for ya!

Monday 12-12-11
We did the usual stuff, cuz it was P-day, so you know what that consists of, laundry, shopping, email... the works.

Then we printed up some pictures and i bought some christmas cards.  I sent possibly 25 cards out! haha it took forever to write up and to get stamped and goin! That'll probably be the only christmas present i can send... i'm b.r.o.k.e.

Then we were supposed to play volleyball. but nobody really wanted to play. So we just went shoppin'

Then we came in wrote christmas cards and had dinner at 6! Then we went to the Guidos home for family night.  Which is always a good time.

Tuesday 12-13-11
We did service in the morning for that crazy lady who has the amazon for the backyard! It was cool... she got a little emotional because she saw we were cutting stuff down... but it had to be done.

Then we ate lunch and went to Sister Starns home, chatted with her for quite a while at the door.

We thought we would go contact some of our potentials we havent seen in a while.  We went to this young girls house who said she would check out the church.  She actually went i just didnt see her i guess? Her, and her mom, and her grandma.  Her mom didnt like it but her and her grandma did, they say they want to go back and hopefully we can begin to teach them the lessons! BOO YA! That would be Santa Susana's first real investigator since i've been here...

Then we did some tracting, of course no success.

We went to the Bickmores for dinner and it was great, they had their bedroom in their living room because they are remodelling their room. it was pretty funny.

Then we went with Brother Walter on splits. As usual. Not much to say there.

Wednesday 12-14-11
We had district meeting. and sister Hoggan, the crazy lady who is a hoarder showed up and actually taught a lesson. It was a pretty good lesson i guess? Then she fed us lunch, which everyone was worried about because she hoards food in her house too... remember when i told you she has two fridges because one got too full and started to raught so she bought a new one to start over, and it resides in her living room haha yeah, so i was a little hesitant in eating, but it looked ok and we all said extra prayers for it. During lunch she did something called Graphology, and its where she can tell what kind of person you are by the  way you write, and she was pretty accurate on all of us and she doesnt even know us that well.  She even got a missionary who is usually pretty quiet to start bawling like a baby because by the look of his handwriting she said he was suffering and needs to seek help and stuff like it was pretty powerful... inspired, probably not, but it was cool.

Then we went to Brother Penrods house and chatted with him, it had been a while since we'd seen him.  My companion always falls asleep at his house and it offends brother Penrod. I dont think he likes him at all... Its so embarrassing to try and cover for my companion when he just decides to be mean and not care about anyone. People always ask him questions and he'll IGNORE them!?!?! I'm usually having to answer his questions for him and people look at me with the look like "is he ok?" and then look at him like "gosh what the heck is your problem" haha seriously! Its so annoying! I wish in my letters home i could say "i love my companion he is the best, we get along and are gonna hange out after the mission" but when that day comes the angels will appear out of the heavens and sing songs of rejoicing...

Then we went to sister starns house, she was super stressed over some stuff so we helped her do some odd jobs around the house. She really appreciated it.  We were building trust up until she asked bullard a question and he ignored her... great haha.

Then we went to dinner at brother Skinners house, he made us some bear meat! It was way good! Then he gave us a pack of meat and taught us how to season it and deepfry it! Our very own pack of bear meat!

Then we went Caroling with Goudy and Searcy! they told me that we were going to go caroling with their ward... but then when we got picked up i was like "so where is your ward meeting you" and they said "we arent caroling WITH our ward we are caroling TO our ward" so four of us went to their ward member homes and sang... it was fun though. Getting kind of chilly here. VERY Windy, just a little wet now and is pretty cool... Some days its still nice! Like in the 70's! But for now those are rare.

Oh and if Natalie is reading this letter, i got your letter today! Thanks a ton, i responded to it this morning so look out for my letter in the mail!

Thursday 12-15-11
WE went to a less active ladies house and showed her the movie "Joy to the world" it was good, she really enjoyed it.  She seems like she might be a little lonely during the holidays so i thought i would share that with them.

Then we went to the church and made some copies of some very important papers.

Then we went home and i had a package from stuart and amy! I probably shouldnt have opened it, i probably should have saved it for christmas, but i couldnt help it! So i opened it! Thanks so much! There was candy and a Pillow tie! haha there i a missionary in our mission who's brother in law invented that place so he has TONS of those ties. I like it, you can blow up your tie and use it as a pillow! Baha! I took it to church, everyone liked it! So thanks!

Then we ate lunch, i'm begining to grow fond of Spongebob macaroni and cheese... NOT, i've had mac and cheese like 4 or 5 times this week!

Then we went with the erringer elders and did service at the crazy ladies house again.  It was funnish, just running out of room to put the left overs.  I often wish i was still able to use the things i had back home, the tools, the truck all that stuff, cuz this job would be done by now haha.

we showered and changed and then went to Anne's house and watched Joy to the world with her and her boyfriend, her step dad came in and saw the part about joseph smith and took interest, i asked anne if she would ask her step dad if he would like to take the missionary lessons she said she would find out!

Then the Andersons picked us up and took us to a place called tommy's, they serve chili stuff. So Chili burgers, dogs , fries. IT was way good. Brother anderson had us try some "hot peppers" and my companion just about died, i ate about 2 or 3 and he had mabye 1 or 2 and had to run to the bathroom... his face got prettttttty red haha!

Then we went to the church, where we were supposed to go on splits but our ward mission leader was running late, so we just hung out for a while.  The relief society was having a christmas party.  They kept trying to get us to eat food.  Then they did a white elephant gift thingy, and it was pretty funny to see our ward women duke it out for a pair of hand towels.

Then our ward mission leader showed up and took us out to see a few people.

I made some notes on this day though... here they are.
1. i will probably be sending a small box home with a memory card in it
2.I bought some horse liniment! ITs great! But pricey.
3.I havent gotten any packages from mom or dad yet, i think because you might have not sent them priority mail, so they cant forward it to me, or something? Maybe you didnt put "california ventura mission" on the address without that they cant forward stuff. But i will get them this wednesday.
4.  i might need surgery. Haha on my shoulder, remember how i messed it up in Tehachapi? Well now i think it is effecting my neck, it hurts to turn it and its been like that for about a month and a half... i will talk to the president s wife and see what she says, mabye i'll go see a doctor and see what he says.  We have an ER nurse in our area and she said that if my shoulder was to be fixed then i would probably need surgery, hopefully it doesnt come down to that, but i dont want it messin with my neck, might as well get it fixed asap.

Oh and i also stated thawing the bear meat for lunch Friday! MMMmmmmm

Friday 12-16-11
I hit my 10 month mark!

We went and did our weekly planning at the church.  Then we came back and cooked up the bear meat. we ate ALL of it! It was sooooo gooooood.  When you deep fry it it shrinks so it didnt seem like there was that much there. But it was MIGHTY TASTY! We also saved some for sister starn and her daughter and also for the guidos.  I dont know if either of them ate it, they were pretty intimidated by it.

Then we went to sister starn's house and spoke with her and her daughter for a while. It was good. They are pretty awesome.

We smelt really bad, like deep fried meat, so we ran to the Guidos and they have this wash spray that makes you not stink anymore, so they sprayed us down before we went to our next appointment.

Then we went to our appointment with Chelsea and Jordan.  We taught them the Gospel Of Jesus Christ.  Jordan seems to get it more and is more on the spiritual side. But at least they are both taking thelessons.

Then we went to the Regis' home and spoke with them for a little bit.

After that we went to the Guidos and helped them get ready for a christmas party they were having, with a ton of non members and stuff! And they were running late so they gave us all these chores to do, i was in charge of making cookies, i must have made over 100 cookies.  It was pretty sweet.  Tons of people showed up and we had a lot of fun!

Sat 12-17-11
WE did service for the crazy lady again! All we did was take the vines and palms and branches and cut them up for garbage bin size. When she came out she wanted to talk to "the nice one" (She doesnt know our names) but "the nice one" was not me, she said i was "the mean one!" haha i am so nice to her! Reguardless of her craziness. Anyways she filled us out a check for $100 and i ripped it up.  Not in her face to make her upset, but later on i did.

Then we ate lunch and got changed.

We went to sports, today was soccer, it was good. Me and elder Bullard were the only onesthere who had members and non members show up... i wonder if the other elders even invite other people? But it seems that we are the only ones really working out here.  I guess our numbers for our district have been REALLY bad, we are the only ones keeping simi alive... But we had Jean Regis show up, he liked it. And it was a good time! The Rain cut out long enough for us to play!

Then we went to the guidos with a change of clothes, they needed us to put some more christmas lights up. So we did and when i say we i mean I did haha and then we got changed and while i was changing elder bullard had been talking to one of their daughters and she came up to me and said why does your companion hate you so much...? Man, he's telling members that i'm teh root of all his problems... its so hard to keep trust with the members when they think that i'm a big bully to my comp, i'm not even quite sure what he tells them? I just know he doesnt like me and doesnt mind telling EVERYONE, he makes up some pretty good lies though to dramatize it... anyways  Barry came and picked us up in his new car. It was sweet. Toyota corolla S. He took us to a mexican restaurant and brought us to his house where we watched some LDS Christmas movies.  He keeps telling me he wants to throw me a big birthday party, but he's not sure if it will work since i could be transferred in a week... we'll see haha.

Sunday 12-18-11
We had church and then we went to the Guidos. Plan was to go caroling and then eat dinner, which is what we did.  We went to an old folks home and sang to them.  Thats probably one of my favorite things to do at christmas time because they are all happy and start to sing with us.  We even sang to one lady who was sitting alone and she started bawling :( awww poor old lady! But it was great! Then we went back for dinner.  Sister Guido loves me and was like "Alright elder crapo, you need to be in the family, so since Ariana is too young you'll just have to settle with Theresa, i know you guys have your differences but anything is possible!"  haha it was so funny, her daughter was like "SHUT UP MOM" hahahaha! i was dyin' cuz i was laughing so hard.  She kept gonig on and on and on about her plans for us to get married, then they started telling me all the good things about Theresa and how she likes me and started asking me questions to see if i am worthy.  haha! it was way too funny. Then we watched parts of the christmas Devotional, i was doing their dishes so i didnt get to see much of it. I always do their dishes because they always have a ton to do, and i dont like having the person who cooked have to clean the dishes too...

But that was pretty much it for my week!  It was an ok week.  Only one more week left till the end of the transfer, and then there will probably be some major changes! We'll see, one can only hope haha. I love you all! I hope you are all well especially for the holidays! I hope you all get my Christmas card i sent!

Love,

What is Christmas? I forgot.

Subject: What is Christmas? I forgot.

Hello Family and Friends!

Another week down! I'm approaching my 10 month mark... Can you believe it? I can and cant at the same time.  Depending on how i look at it, it feels like i've been out FOREVER, or if i look at it another way i feel like i just got out.  And i cannot believe that it is already christmas time.... Holy smokes.  It does not feel like it at all.  I think probably because its a good 70 Degrees outside still and plus i'm working to hard to realize its a holiday.  Today is actually really rainy :(  I'll have to buy a beenie, my ears just about fall off everytime i ride my bike at night, it gets a little chilly.  Anyways let me tell ya all about my weeeeeeeeeeeeek.

Monday 12-5-11
We did our usual stuff.  Email, Laundry, Shopping.  Hardly no emails :( Same this week too.  Starting to feel like i've been out 10 months Cuz thats what usually happens to missionaries when they've been out as long as i have, people start to forget about ya, then they stop writing.  Its only when you just got out and when you're getting ready to go home when you get lots of mail... Odd.  But i see how it is.  I deeply appreciate the people who did write me though! You know who you are!

We then went on a hike with the District, to a place called Wood Ranch, it was SUPER windy, and if you climbed up a boulder, you'd better brace yourself cuz you'd get blown off, no joke it was so windy, i spat into the air and it shot my spit at least 50 feet in the direction the wind was blowing before it hit the ground.

Then we came home and wrote letters, we had dinner with the Darley's, brother darley is a competitive bicyclist, so is his wife, so they eat super healthy to keep their weight low.  But in his younger days, he used to love working out and he showed us some of his pictures from back in the day... the dude looked like Arnold Schwarzenegger.  No joke, the guy was ripped! it was sweet! But now he's like... 40 or 50? but still peddlin like a crazy man on his bike.

Then we went to the Guido's.  They needed help bringing in their Christmas tree.  So we did that.

We then went home and went on an exchange with the spanish elders.  We have to do this weekly now because my companion hates me for some reason...? The only thing he looks forward to is going on exchanges with Elder Graff... The kid is crazy.  But i've been doing an insanely good job at doing everything my comps way, its driving me crazy but i do it.  I've never critiqued him once or told him to stop doing something... the other day he told me though, to eat my cereal more quietly... it was giving him a headache. I just about fell off my chair i was laughing so hard.  But i said, "Ok, anything for you elder bullard" haha kid has issues.  I think i found out what though, i think he's intimidated, i think he was thinking he was going to be the "big man" in the mission, and his companion would be inferior to him.  But things arent that way with Elder Crapo. But i'm babying him still... makin him happy. Only two more weeks of this "Bull....ard" haha He's a good kid, he just needs to do what Elder Pulham taught me.... to "Pick up your skirt"

Tuesday 12-6-11
We were on exchanges with spanish, i was with Elder Hernandez, this is his first area. He can speak Spanish, English and French.  The kid is a stud, i love him.  So i let him do all the planning and stuff since i dont speak spanish and since its his area.  I would drive him around pretty much all day.  But it was good.  We saw a few people.  Got some good numbers and then went to do Service at sister Hoggan's house.  But when we went to go get some other Elders i guess part of Simi, the part they were in, was on lock down.  3 Black dudes robbed a jewlery store with guns and what not, so their were a few helicopters in the air looking for them and cops on every corner.  Simi is like the #1 safest place in our mission so when there is crime they take it pretty seriously. We got the other elders though and all we did at sister hoggans was wrap presents.  It was fun though.

Then we visited dubious amounts of people.  Elder Hernandez made me dinner because they didnt have anybody signed up.  And we went to the church because we were supposed to play sports but instead they did singing.  So we still went to that.  Then left, got ice cream and exchanged back.

Wednesday 12-7-11
We had District meeting which the ZL's took over and told us all the lovely things that happened at ZLC, they also gave us our first present, someone in the stake made a present for all the missionaries in simi.  I havent opened it yet, i guess i'll save it for christmas.

We ate lunch. Went contacting and one of our appointments bailed on us :(

We went contacting more but NOBODY was home, it was driving me crazy.

I got a flat, but stopped at the right house because they fixed it up for me, actually just gave me a new tube.  It was way nice of them.

Then we basically were on the streets trying to get a hold of people but no one was really home at all...

We tracted our dinner's street because we showed up a bit early. But then we ate at the Bystroms, they fixed us breakfast for dinner.  They are older but have a son and his family living with them.  We noticed they didnt have their christmas lights up so we volunteered our services to put them up for them, so they told us to come back the next day.

We went to the church where we were supposed to meet an investigator, but he had to cancel. But they had all the youth at the church and so we kind of just played dodgeball with them for a while.  It was loads of fun.  My companion split his finger open on the rim trying to dunk a ball and blood was everywhere... on the balls, on the floor... the bishopric was mad at us.  But thats my comp for ya. (bag of hammers)

I've also been having problems with my neck... i dont know why? i think i'm deprived of my special chiropractic care i was getting in tehachapi, my neck has been hurting forever! I need to get some Horse Liniment from the pet store.  That should fix it up.

Thursday 12-8-11
We went back to our dinner from the night before's house and put up a little christmas display in their yard.  They didnt want us to put up lights though... i dont know why?

Then we went to the Guido's and had our Recent Convert Anne come over and watch the joseph smith movie.  It was great.  She loved it.  I love it.  I could watch it forever. Its the closest thing to watching a real movie out here.

Then we had an appointment with a part member family but they cancelled.  But our dinner came and picked us up early anywyas.  So we went to the Rusks, i think i have told you about them before.  Sister Rusk is british, and we got on a long conversation of candy, Smarties, aeros, crunchis, fruit pastilles, flakes, digestives with carmel.... all that good stuff.  She even had one of those chocolate oranges you smack on the table and break into slices! She actually had some fruit pastilles that she gave me and bullard. It was great, they are a small family and usually families like that are awkward to eat at but even though they are old they are super easy to talk to.

After dinner we went to the Church and taught David, our investigator we havent seen in a while, and it was a way good lesson.  He's just having a hard time coming to church, i really hope he can get work off to come because i think he would get baptized if he would just come.

Friday 12-9-11
We had our weekly planning which was "super" Comp inventory was fun.  I didnt ask my companion to change or anything, just complimented him, said he's doing great (cuz thats what i have to do) but of course i have a list of things to improve on... 2 more weeks. anyways! We went contacting people after that but no one was really home again! Grrrr.  So we went to our appointment at 4.  Chelsea (17) and Jordan her friend (19).  I dont know if i told you about them last week, but it was our first visit that we set them with a baptismal date for chirstmas eve.  But Investigators have to go to church 3 times before they can be baptized, but since jordan didnt go to church we had to change dates.  So we moved it to January 7th 2012! I know they can do it. They just have to come to church.  Chelsea has been 3 times but she is super nervous to get baptized.  But we had a good lesson.  Answered a lot of questions and taught them the Restoration of the Gospel.

Then we went to the Regis' house (Part member family) they were getting ready for the ward christmas party. So we only chatte wtih them for a little bit.

Then we went to the party ourselves, got us some good grub and what not.  Anne came with her Boyfriends Reid, who i think could be Scott's best friend in the whole world.  They are so much alike, they look alike, they are both in the Army Reserves, they both do airsofting.... so they need to be friends.  Look him up Scott! Reid Levitz, the guy is a stud!

Then we rode home on our bikes and it was cold... yay

Saturday 12-10-11
We did a service project with the ward, went to two different houses that just needed a lot of work, i was trimming a bush, in the lovely 70 degree weather when i thought that it was december and how odd it was that it wasnt cold... I like it! After the project was over we went to the church to help set up for the ward christmas party, the Simi Valley ward's party was like, throw some tables together get some music and is a party! But the Santa Susana ward went ALL OUT. Lights, trees, decorations, centerpieces, santa, EVERYTHING, it was crazy, but it was fun to see the relief society make a big deal over a little party.

Then we planned to play sports, at the stake center.  Since it was saturday, we planned to play dodgeball, but we got to the church and had about 20 people there, about half were non members too! and the church still had decorations up, so we decided to go to another building, and they were just setting up for their party... so we just played outside, and dodgeball is SO hard to play outside, because the balls would roll and roll forever and it took forever to get them back.  So we switched to ultimate dodgeball, which is basically everyone vs everyone.  It was tons of fun, i havent played gamesl ike that in forever.  but i still get props on the jumping skills haha, everyone there said they'd never seen anyone jump so high. I think that made my companion jealous... cuz he's usually the one that is hard to beat at jumping.  He gets jealous and envyous over little things like that, which hurts our companionship... Oh well!

Then after sports we changed and got dressed, went to our ward party.  It was way good.  They have a tradition that at every christmas party they take all the pictures from throughout the year and do a slide show.. It was way cool to see how people have changed and what boys got eagles and stuff. Good idea for other wards!

Then we helped clean up and rode home on our bikes! Zoooooom! Not.

Sunday 12-11-11
Went to church as usual.

Went to dinner with the murphy's and they are way awesome, i love that family!

And then we went to the Guidos and watched the Joseph Smith movie with Chelsea! And it was good, kind of distracting and Chelsea didnt really get it. But it was good.  Had a way fun time!

Anyways i think that is pretty much it for this week... i cant think of anything else to say.  Write me! And that's it.  I'm gonna try and send out a christmas card today with a picture maybe? haha I love you guys.  Cant wait to talk to the fam on christmas!  love you all! BYE BYE!

Love

Crazy Week

Date: Mon, 5 Dec 2011 12:57:14 -0800
Subject: Crazy Week

Dear Family and Friends,

Hey family! How are you guys? i havent heard from a whole lot of you! So make sure you send me emails or letters so i can know how you are doing! This week has been a... Dramatic. Who knew missionary work was so full of drama... I'll tell ya alllllll about it righttttttt now.

Monday 11-28-11
Did the normal P-day stuff. Shopping, laundry, email.

We stayed at the church and played a game that the Jacobsons taught me in Tehachapi, its called Gator Ball.  We had the whole zone show up plus some members and it was way fun to play!

Then we came home and wrote letters, went to dinner and then stopped at the Guidos and did a family night with them.  Ended up playing Skip-Bo! I hadnt played that in forever! I loved it.  Also their very autistic daughter Maria was running around, and she likes to Squeeze things... so she ran up to me and started squeezing my arm haha and then i realized she didnt have pants on! Baha! Way funny.

Tuesday 11-29-11
We went tracting with the spanish elders. We had a pretty good slam.  We went to a door and there was a sign that said "No Soliciting" and the grumpy old grinch answers the door and is like "Did you read the sign!?" and i pretty much knew that was coming so i said "Sure did" SLAM! Highlight of the tracting period haha.

Then we ame home and ate lunch.  Did some contacting through the ward list and went all the way to the tippy top of our area where we usually dont go because its up this HUGE hill.  Its called Big sky, its where all the rich people live.. so we went the back way this time and found that it was so much easier going that way.  On the way back down we must have hit at least 40 MPH. Could have gone faster had it not been for all this stinkin wind we've been having!

We stopped at a place called Rocket Fizz, i was looking for Guarana, they only had the diet... eh so i got it.  And i got a cream soda.  Rocket fizz is pretty much like Pirate O's except more sodas.  The diet Guarana was WAY GROSS! DONT GET IT EVER.  But Hanks Cream Soda on the other hand was quite pleasant! Then we left to go to our apartment, and on the way there my companion crashed hard core on his bike! BAHA!  all i could hear was some plant making a noise and then a crash, he pretty much landed on his chest, but he crashed because he was going down the street, saw a bush, grabbed it and forgot to let go... s.m.r.t. It was so funny, there were so many people driving by! But i didnt laugh.. out loud. Didnt want to make him feel bad ya know?

Then we went and spoke with a potential lady.  We made plans to go with her to the Simi Community Christmas!

*side note: While we were riding around earlier, there was a cop driving around (who is a member) but he was going through an intersection where we were crossing at, and he scared the crap out of us because as he drove by he got on his intercom and said "GO GET EM ELDERS!" haha way funny!

Then we went to dinner with Brother Anderson.  Spoke about motorcycles a lot with him.  he was into the Crotch Rockets... crazy dude! But he's got some good stories.  He had a suzuki GRX 1000... pretty sure that the bike simon wanted.

Then we went on splits with the ward missionaries and ward mission leader and i had a letter from MUM! YAY!

Wednesday 11-30-11
We taught a less active lady in the morning then the Pinkstons saw us and took us to lunch which was way cool.

Contacted our potentials and Bullard was lagging way bad... which usually means he's having a bad day.  So when we stopped i asked why and he said he wanted to go home... oh gosh. Here we go again.  Thats made me realize that i have had 3/5 companions tell me that they want to go home...  Anyways so i tried to encourage him a little bit, so we went to go tracting. he must have been at least a football feild behind me or more everywhere we went on our bikes.  I had to keep stopping and waiting and stopping and waiting.  Then when we went tracting i would wait at a door for a while so he would SLOWLY walk up and come to the door with me, and then when i was at the door he was still like 10 feet away from the door looking at a wall or looking the opposite direction.  We knocked maybe 5 doors and i was like this is ridiculous.  So we hopped on our bikes, i called the district leader and told him to come talk to my comp and to let me go out with his comp so we could get some work done.  As soon as we walked in the door the first thing Bullard started to do was pack.  Took out his suitcase and started packing.  I left and went and did work.  Me and elder Hernandez (who is a stud) went out and worked all the way till dinner.  Then we came back, my apartment looked bare without Bullards stuff everywhere, he even packed his bedding!  Then elder Graff informed us not to talk to him, that he would talk to president at Zone Conference the next day.  So they dropped us off at the Community Christmas (me and hernandez) and then we couldnt get a ride back so we decided to walk, we walked for about and hour and thirty minutes (because this place was out of our area) and we just got to the end of our street and a member saw us and took us the rest of the way.

Pretty crazy day...

Thursday 12-1-11
We went to ZC. Still werent supposed to talk to Bullard.  And he kept disappearing on me AT Zone CONFERENCE! How bad is it when you have to go ask president where your companion went?   Zone Conference was long but good, and they made us some home made Cafe Rio.  SOOOOO GOOOOOOD!  We got to sit with Elder Finkle, who is the old guy who takes care of the cars, he's a dirty old man but he's HILARIOUS, our whole table was like crying because we were laughing so hard. Then at the very end we had to have interviews with president, Just me and my comp though.  So We ended up having to cancel our dinner appointment because it was taking so long.  But when elder Bullard was done with his interview it was my turn, so i went in and presdient basically just told me everything bullard said to him and he said that bullard basically blamed everything on me.  So i told president everything i knew and he told me everything i need to do, he says he knows its not my fault, Bullard just comes from a COMPLETELY different life style and that he was just pointing fingers...  So that kind of made me angry, because now i have to be nice and more patient and loving to a person who blames me for all his stress and problems... but hey, i can do this.  Bullard was looking for a way out president said... he said he used every trick in the book to try and go home.  But president wouldnt budge haha.  So now he's stuck with me for 3 more weeks.  And i am doing a lot of changing to keep this little kid happy.  But i can do it! Look at the bright side, we got new Cell phones at Zone Conference haha they are pretty sick.

I also got mail at ZC, from the Johnson girls in Tehachapi, and they put something way funny in one of the letters.  They too, thought i looked like Draco Malfoy from harry potter, so they sent me a picture book of "The life of Elder Crapo" and it had pictures of that Draco kid on ever page but they had a picture and then the age it would have a picture of him from the first movie and it would say "Elder crapo at age 8" haha and it worked its way up and ended with my picture at the end, i thought that was pretty funny!

Then we got dropped off at the Community christmas again and it was a way good time. They had some WAY Good performances.

Friday 12-2-11
We did our weekly planning as usual.  I decided during comp inventory i would listen to what my companion had to say, and i wouldnt say anything lest i give him any more stress....  So pretty much i have  a lot of changing to do haha.  But i will do it.

We went out and got Anne (our recent convert) some doo dads for her birthday, cuz it was her birthday, and we left it on her door step.  She really liked it!

Then we ate lunch and talked to a potential investigator and actually got into a deep discussion, she's an old lady named murtle but she has way good questions and has been going with friends to the mormon church for a while now.  So we set up an appointment and will be back to teach her! WOO HOO!

Then we went to our 17 year old investigators house, and she invited a friend! And we had planned to teach the law of chastity... out of all times to invite your friend you do it then.  But the girl is really sincere about learning more and believes everything in the chastity pamphlet.  We set BOTH of them with a date to be baptized for December 24th!!!! They agreed... these girls are REALLY girly though so they have a bit of a fear to get their hair wet... but i think they will definitely be ready by then!

Then we saw some more peeps and went to the community christmas again (it was going on for 4 days straight) and then we went to dinner with the Spanish Elders and Barry! It was loads of fun.  way good day compared to the others.

Saturday 12-3-11
We did service at that amazon house i told you about last week.  I climbed up WAY high into this tree with a saw and started taking down HUGE branches haha, you can finally get some sunlight into that backyard! If you think i'm joking i'm not!  We did a lot of work but didnt get much done.  We still have no place to put the branches or anything, we are still waiting on getting a dumpster but hey, it looks a lot better than what it did before!

Then we went to the park to play sports because i told you last week that i had made fliers and everything for it... well only 4 other people showed up... So this week we made sure EVERYBODY got a flier! We will not have a repeat of that again! Next week is dodgeball and before we did frisbee.

Then we went to the Guidos house and i put the christmas lights up.  When my companion hears the word service or work he usually hides... seriously.   But funny thing was i felt like Clark Grizwald because i put them up with a staple gun... baha! We couldnt get a ride home and so we just jogged, and on the way some girls thought it would be funny to run along side us, and they were stupid annoying teenage girls so i put on the turbo boosters and hauled buns outta there, they were like "oh my gosh look at how fast they can run"  Burn dust! Eat my rubber!

Then we went to Barry's house for dinner with the spanish elders, always a good time.

Sunday 12-4-11
Went to church as usual, had 2 investigators show up, 1 less active and 1 recent convert! Then we went to the Guidos house for dinner! It is always the best to have dinner with the Guidos!

Thats pretty much it. Sorry i cant write personal emails! I usually will print off any email you send and write you a response.  So just look out for it in the mail.  P day just doesnt allow for that much time to be wasted on the computer!  But send me letters! And pictures, one of my favorite things to get is pictures! So send them!  I love you all and pray for you all!

Thanksgiving!

Date: Mon, 28 Nov 2011 12:51:56 -0800
Subject: Thanksgiving!

Dear Family & Friends!

It was good to see that i had a few emails this week! So thanks! As for mail.... hmmmmm havent had much ofthat lately ;)  Just try your best to drop me a line whenever you get a chance. Remember! Mail = Gold (to missionaries)

So this is how my week went last week...

Monday 11-21-11
We did the usual stuff, shopping, laundry, email.  And then we decided to go on a little hike as a district! SUPER SWEET! haha we  went  to a cross that was up on a hill... i have a picture, i'll send it.  The trail was pretty easy, just a whole bunch of switch backs.  On the way back down i found a short cut that went STRAIGHT down and i took that, i was running full speed because i couldnt stop, and there was a lot of cactus around and as i was running my knee went right up into a cactis that was hanging over the path... that felt good.  I then spent the next couple minutes removing cactus pricks from out of my leg, one of which went pretty deep! haha it was all good though.

Then we showered and shopped,  I also found out at email that Kyle Patrick (the man) was sending me some Cutters (Football gloves) for the turkey bowl! I was super stoked!

We went to the Other missionaries apartment after and Elder Goudy was being a weirdo... he like shoved me into the closet to tell me something and he wouldnt let me leave... i had to take drastic measures to get away and i shoved him into  the wall as he faught back haha, i accidently broke his watch and now the rest of the week he has been ignoring me but hopefully he will forgive me soon.

Then we went to dinner with a somewhat crazy family, they are young and didnt really involve us in anything they were saying or doing so we kind of just ate quietly and left haha. odd....

Then we got to work, hard work, it was FREEZING!  it was like 40 degrees!  But we rode our bikes all over, probably not what i should have done because i got a cold later on, but we had to, my companion went to the district leader and complained that we werent working hard enough.... I was like WHAT!?!?! We had been working hard but i toned it down because his first week here he started complaining that i was working him too hard, and then he says we arent working hard enough?!?! i wouldnt have that! So we enforced some mega rules, i'm like a nazi on the white handbook now, and we work like crazy, no more giving slack... It made me pretty angry that he would do that and not talk to me first... And trust me he does not like it... haha.

Tuesday 11-22-11
I wasnt feeling good at all.  Actually really sick :( i had a cold or something.

We worked all morning tracting, visiting, contacting... the works.

Then Curtis Brown picked us up and took us to lunch at IN'N'OUT.  My companion being the way he is and being grumpy because of the added work i was enforcing kind of offended this guy all day at lunch...  Everything he said i was like... "oh my.. elder shut up" well i wish i could say that but i couldnt.  So i'm pretty sure Curtis doesnt like him too much...

Then we kept working allllll day.  and then we went on a blitz with the ZL's i went with elder Haynie, and we went tracting, it was great! Just like the old days! he reminds me of simon a lot, the first thing he said to me on the phone when they came to pick us up was "Where are those little boogers? If i was a little booger, where would i be?" haha and then when he saw me he was like "Whats up little dude?" Me and elder Haynie are going to hang out after the mission, we get along really well.

Then we ate at the Pinkstons and they sent me on a mission to ask mom what the name of the person was who told her he knew the pinkstons out here! So mum if you could get back to me on that as soon as possible that'd be great.

We then went on splits with the ward mission leader and contacted TONS of people.  It was pretty good.

Wednesday 11-23-11
I didnt actually write or do a video for this night.... but what i did write was that at 10:20pm  We got a call saying we werent allowed to play turkey bowl anymore!?!?!  After we were told all week to go ahead and do it from the ZL's and then after we had invited like... 5 Investigators who expected us to play!  I was needless to say upset! its tradition pllus its harmless, we made sure all the rules worked hand in hand with the missioanry guidelines and now they tell us last minute we cant play...

Thursday 11-24-11 THANKSGIVING
So i woke up and did my best to get special permission to play football.  Because of our condition we kind of deserved it... We called pretty much everyone and the only response we got back was, we could go, BUT we could only go in proslyting clothes and we could only watch...  So we did that, except we played all time quarter back on both teams... and it was a ton of fun! Could have been better if we could have thrown on our cleats and gloves and KILLED the other team...  But i noticed something... all the kids who have like scholarships we were playing with... i was better than them... gave me hope to think maybe i could still do football when i get back? Maybe go play for a Jr. College when i get home?  I dont know? What do you guys think? I think if i was a little more devoted than i was in high school i could do well...

Then we went to the Pinkstons house, where we were just going to hang out for a little bit.  We had plans to eat Dinner with Barry Thomas at 4 so we didnt want to eat.  But they took us to their grandparents house and there was no saying "no" we had to eat.  So its 3 and we eat... then we left and made it to Barry's and we ate again at another members house he took us to.  I was stuffed! i mean full... stuffed is bad.  Then we went to Barry's house and watched "17 Miracles" it was pretty good. Kind of confusing because it didnt explain some things real well but still a god story.

SIMON THIS IS A NOTE FOR YOU: last christmas you and i were looking for some good christmas music to listen to, a member showed us one look up "Family Force 5" on youtube, they do modern music versions of like every song... so ENJOY. and you're welcome.

Friday 11-25-11
We did our weekly planning and then went to Goudy and Searcy's apartment where they wanted all the missionaries to bring their left overs from thanksgiving and put them all together and have a feast... unfortunately we didnt get any left overs so we all ate the small portion of their food they got haha!

Then we got to talking on the phone with some other elders and set up a day we will have sports.  A set time and sport and place and we can invite anyone and everyone! Its sweet! We also made the flyers and is now ready to go!

Then we contacted a TON of people... nothing real interesting ever happens doing that.

We left our bikes on the other side of town and got picked up by spanish, we split up with each others companions and went tracting.  I took the Green Elder Hernandez, he was like worshipping me because on our first house i gave out a book of mormon, invited them to a church event and they said they would come and it just went really well... he was like "DUDE! I LOVE TRACTING NOW" haha

Then we went to dinner and it was a family that makes this really good sweet bread, and they make LOTS, and they put thanks giving leftovers in it and make hot pockets, they cook them then pour gravy on it! ITS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD Amazing!  My comp ate 3! The kid who lived there said he's never seen anyone eat 2! haha then we had Scones, and cinamon rolls... pretty much everything you can make out of bread! We wished we would have had that for thanksgiving dinner.  Which reminds me, i was looking through this book at thanksgiving, and they have all the missionaries sign it, and i stumble accross a guy who lives in... riverton? Named J. Scott Crapo.  And i signed my name right below his... it actually looked a lot like scotts bad handwriting.... Interesting though right?

Then we picked up our bikes and the guy gave us a ride back home and we came in and that was it.

Saturday 11-26-11
We did some service tracting which is a load better than regular tracting, EVERYONE WAS NICE, they were like man we really admire what you do, come back anytime! Usually when we tract one street we will get about 6 slams on average, when we did service tracting we only got 1! Think i found a better method for us missionaries!

We went to a service project at a crazy ladies house who was old and hoppped up on druggs.  Her house looked like the yard hadnt been taken care of for 10 years or longer, you couldnt get to the back yard because there were beehives along the side of the house they guard it, so we had to climb the roof to get to the back yard... have you ever seen the jungle book? i wish i had had my camera! THE WORSTE BACKYARD EVER!!! Seriously felt like i was in the amazon.  The neighbors came out and were excited we were over there because they had never seen anyone clean that yard before so we got a couple potentials from talking to them! YES! SCORE!

The Gloves that kyle sent me finally came... not like i needed them anyways, even though i REALLY wanted to use them! haha So thanks Kyle a TON, maybe next year they will let us play and i can dominate then!

Then we did a ton of tracting and contacting and ate dinner wtih a really small humble family that lived in a tiny guest house... it was really nice.  My companion was having a bad day for some reason, dont ask me why... he never tells me ANYTHING.  So he was pretty much offending everyone he spoke to becuase he had a glare on his face and his attitude was just.... not good, he would NOT talk.  It was driving me crazy, normally i would bring him in so that he doesnt ruin our relationship with the members but i wouldnt because i knew we needed to keep working hard. so we did.

Sunday 11-27-11
We  just had a basic day at church...  I got a package from the Magness family! It was the Korean Jerky that is my favorite! YES Thank you so much!!!! Plus the peanuts too! You can send me any of that stuff any time you want!

My comp was offending TONS of people at church too because he was still being a negative nancy.  I had our district leader come over to talk to him because i was sick of him making people angry.... so not much else happened... Hes got a meeting set up with our president soon to see if he even wants to be a missionary... he's got major problems. Hopefully things get better!

Well i'd better dash off! Thanks for the emails again! I love you all! I'll talk to you next week! And i cant wait to call on christmas!

LOVE EDLER CRAPO!!!!

Transfers go fast

Date: Mon, 21 Nov 2011 11:43:38 -0800
Subject: Transfers go fast

Hey family! Time for another update.

Monday 11-14-11
We got a car for P-day because all the other elders went to the Reagan library.

So we went shopping with Elder Stephenson and Elder Wood.  Then we went bowling because we had some free tickets.

Then we went to the mall.  And they had this little pond full of HUGE Fish and elder stephenson stuck his finger into the water and the fish came and like, sucked on his finger.  It was pretty hilarious.

Then we came back and i cut my hair, really short because stephenson said if he would do it i have to do it!  So i did it.  But i dont like it...

It was also transfers, Elder Graff lost elder Coles but gained Elder Hernandez.  he's way cool.  Thats the only change we had in the district.  And then Elder Haynie is our new Zone Leader! Which i was stoked about!

Tuesday 11-15-11
We went with Elder Goudy and Searcy to one of their members houses and her name is Sister Hoggan, she is pretty funny, but she is a hoarder!  Its so gross! We helped clean the house a little and you can barely walk anywhere!  She buys stuff and never uses it, and there was like rat poop and nasty stuff everywhere in her house! She could definately be on the show Hoarders.  She had a fridge FULL of food.  And it got all moldy and she didnt want to empty it so she just went and bought another fridge which is in her living room...  Its SUPER gross.  But it was fun.  You never know what you would find.

Then we went and showered and had dinner at the Browns home.

Then went on splits with the ward mission leader.  I also got my package from sister Magness.  I also am really looking forward to getting a new watch for christmas, mine just broke :( Snapped off my wrist.

So the plans are that we are having Thanksgiving dinner with Barry.  He's taking us out.  And the Guidos signed up for Christmas.  So when i call home i'm sorry if all you can hear is yelling and screaming.   Cuz they are super noisy.

Wednesday 11-16-11
I turned 9 Months old. Wow....

We had district meeting which was fun.  I shared some of the goodies that mum sent me in the package!

We ate lunch at in'n'out!

I saw Haynie! YAY!!!  It was a great reunion.

Then we did some tracting.  Tracting now has a new twist to it that i think everyone will enjoy.  So every door we record what kind of event happened. and we count them up and see who had the most of what at the end of the week.  So here are the categories.
Return appointments: Is when someone says to come back and it goes well.
Shafted + Slam: Is when someone makes you feel or look stupid or just completely denies you or they slam the door in your face.
Bash: Is when people stay at the door and argue over religion
Blabbers: is when a person (Ususally a crazy one) talks to you FOREVER about stupid stuff.
Terrestial: When someone admires you and your hard work, but has their own religion.

So so far we have...
4 returns
8 shaft slams
0 bash's
1 blabber
and 3 terrestial.

I guess this will help you understand what most of the people are like when we knock on their door.  Plus it makes even the bad stuff fun because we'll leave a house being like "YES! WE JUST GOT SHAFTED!" haha so yeah...

Then we went to CVS to print up some pictures but on the  way there we were stopped by car and inside was an older lady, a younger girl in the front and a younger guy lying down in the back.  And the driver, the old lady, was like "Elders Elders! We need you to do an emergency blessing right now! My son has had way bad abdominal pain and we are heading to the hospital but we need you to give him a blessing." So they pulled over and told him to lay down, he looked like he was in WAY bad shape.  Elder Bullard Annointed him and i blessed him.  And then WHOOSH they were gone, off to the hospital. We were just like... wow, that was cool.  They told us their names and stuff and i knew it sounded familiar so i called them up a few days later to see how he was doing and the lady said that everything i said in the blessing happened.  I blessed him that as soon as the doctors had looked over him he would begin to relax and be comfortable. and she said as soon as the doctor looked over him that's exactly what happened.  So that was way cool, super spiritual.  Blessings do work.

Then i printed the picture i wanted, which was my baptismal picture so that i can put it with all the baptisms i get out here.  Kind of cool to see the ripple effect of me getting baptized leading to all these other people getting baptized.

Then we went to a family's house and taught them about the Proclomation to the family.

Had dinner at the Browns (not the same browns as before)

Then it was 8:30 and brother Walter picked us up to do a 30 minute split... kind of weird, i told you he's baptism crazy haha  At least we were out working though! We've decided if you were to take Jimminey Cricket and Ned Flanders and put them together, you would get brother Walter...

Thursday 11-17-11
We went to the church and watched mormon.org.  Brandon Flowers from the Killers is on there now. He has a pretty cool video about how he is a Mormon.

We went to Goudy and Searcy's apartment and ate lunch over there.

We contacted People, but nobody was really home so we went and visited brother penrod for a while.

Then we went on a blitz with the spanish elders, it was pretty fun tracting with them! Elder Graff is hilarious.

We Talked to a referral who we hopefully can start teaching soon! Her name is Murtle.

Then we went and contacted a lot more people!

On our way to dinner we saw Thereasa and Anthony Guido walking home with pizzas.  Their parents were out of town so they were getting dinner, it was dark so we decided we'd walk em home, light up the way with our bike lights.

Then we ate dinner with the Bacera Family.

Then went on a short splits trip with brother Metcalf our other ward mission leader.

Friday 11-18-11
We did our weekly planning.  Ate lunch. Went and contacted people alllllllll day and then ate dinner at the Knights.  That was pretty much it... haha way slow day.

Saturday 11-19-11
We Finished roofing brother Blomquists house! YES! But now no service to do anymore :( It was fun though.

On our way back home we saw all the Guido kids in the park so we stopped and spoke with them for a while.

We showered and changed, took a package to sister Magness' house to take home for me! this one is for the family so you can open it! YAY!  Hopefully she got it...

Then we ate dinner at the Guidos and had a TON of fun as usual!

That was pretty much it... this was quite a slow week for us but it still went by fast! I think i'm getting a cold, i dont feel 100%... I've had trouble sleeping but i think that is just because i'm sick...  Hopefully i didnt catch anything cleaning sister hoggans house with all that rat poop everywhere haha.  Anyways i love you guys! i miss you! There's only 3 more months and then i'll be half way done! Does not seem like its been that long.... Phew... Crazy! anyways! i'll talk to you next week!

Love,

Elder Crapo

Wow the transfer is over....

Date: Mon, 14 Nov 2011 12:04:06 -0800
Subject: Wow the transfer is over....

Hello family and friends!

I cant believe the transfer is aleady over!?!?! Where did the time go! By the end of this transfer... actually the VERY last day of this transfer i will be calling home! I've been out for 9 MONTHS now.... GREAT ODINS RAVEN thats a long time! Anyways, they are begining to be Nazis to us on the computers! So i better make it quick! Good news though, i will be staying in Simi Valley another transfer with elder bullard.  The only person in the District leaving is Elder Coles (Spanish Elder) and then Elder Graff wil be training another Green Machine!  Also ELDER HAYNIE is coming in to replace one of the ZL's!!! YESSSSS! Remember Elder Haynie in Tehachapi!? it'll be like the good ol' days! YES!!! Ok! onto my week!

Monday 11-7-11
It was P-day, as usual!

We did our laundry and all our Shtuff...

Then Spanish took us shopping, then to email.  I've decided that since they are cracking down on us on email i'd better hand write other responses.  So if you send me an email i will print it and read it later and then WRITE you a letter, so make sure i have your Mailing address so that you know i actually care about you because i will write you...

Then we went to the Reagan Library, its what Simi is known for i guess?  It was SUPER SWEET!  We went with the Dungan family, they took heap loads of pictures of us!  So i will send some through email... and i will also send them home, they are on a cd! BOO YA! We had a way good time there though.

Then we got dropped off at a Potentials house, we thought they were going to be a cool family, but they stood us up, so i called them, and they said they had forgotten our appointment, then went on to tell us that they are believers and their whole motivation in having us over is to prove to us that if we are going to waste 2 years of our lives, we better be doing it for the truth.  So their plans are to tell us how we are wrong, how the book of mormon is false and how we dont need it to have the full gospel.  I still set up another appointment because i'm getting good at bashing and this will be a good place to practice.  I dont like bashing... its not good... But since we have no investigators in that ward i'm gonna take what i can get!

Then we ate  at quite an awkward families home... But it was ok i guess?

Then we ran over to the Guidos house where they had invited a Less Active and we had family night with them and played games... it was grand.  The Guidos are my favorite!

Then we went  back home and switched companions for a ZL Exchange.

Tuesday 11-8-11
I was with Elder Whitmer all day.

We went to a less active ladies house and elder Whitmer was almost about to die on the bike, he's been softened by a car.  But it was ok, pretty funny.

Then we went tracting, no luck :(

Then we ate lunch at the Habit! My favorite Burger Joint here.  Elder Whitmer had never had it so i had to introduce him.

Then we went and started that roofing project i spoke about last week! YES it was so much fun, i cant believe i remember how to roof a house, so now i know that when i get home i can roof my own dang house! Basically all we did was lay out all the tar paper.  We didnt start on the shingles just yet.

Then we came home and showered and changed, we were pretty tired, that roofing took it outta us!

Then we stopped by a few places... No one really was home.

Dinner was brought to our house.

Then we went on splits with the ward mission leader and ward missionaries... it was pretty... boring.

Then we switched companions back again.  And got ice cream with elder Searcy and Elder Goudy.  Its dollar scoop tuesdays i guess and they always want to go... so i couldnt let them down this time.

Our ward mission leader got a little excited i think with this last baptism... he's very baptism hungry, which is a good thing, but a little overbearing.  he wants to go out with us EVERY NIGHT! haha he's crazy.

Wednesday 11-9-11
We had District meeting, and since it is week 6 district meeting we like to do something fun.  So we had Preach my gospel jeopardy on the stage with lights, microphones and everything.  It was way funny.
Then we went to taco bell for lunch... for some reason it never gets old.

We went to service and found that all the tar paper we put on the back of the house got ripped into a million peices from the wind... so we had to re-do it... not a fun process.

Then we had dinner with the Helds which we had to hurry and eat because we had that appointment with the basher people. So we ate and ran, and we got to the basher peoples house and they only had an hour and it went actually REALLY good, they asked lots of questions, we cleared up a lot of concerns, and they are the coolest people ever, it wasnt like an arguement it was more like a transfer of information and clarifying misconceptions.... So it went really well.  We wrote down some questions we didnt feel we could answer and left them with the challenge to read the book of mormon and to pray about it and the promise that if they did that then god would tell thim its true... they were kind of shocked about that... they gave us some Anti literature and to read isaiah because i guess some of the things we believe dont match up to what it says in Isaiah....

So i was really happy after that. and we rode back home on our bikes.

Thursday 11-10-11
Droopped off my box of mail at the magness's because they are going to Utah and she sees mom anyways so she took all the letters i have ever recieved!

Then we went to the church and printed off some papers that would help one of our investigators know how to pray... she is kind of struggling and this paper is just a "consider the following when you pray..." paper.  So i hope it helps.

Then we went home and made blintzes for most of the district! YUM

Then we tracted... and then had a lesson with our 17 year old investigator, we watched the restoration and spoke about the for the strength of youth pamphlet.  She really liked it.

Then we went to Brothe Penrods house and he loaded us with ammo for the next time we go to the bashers house, he's really good at bashing and he basically showed us how to prove them wrong with their own literature... i still dont like bashing but hey! Like i said i'm gonna take what i can get! haha

Then we went to the Guidos and ate dinner with them and brought Anne our Recent Convert with us, it was crazy and she wasnt used to it, but it was a grand old time!

Friday 11-11-11
We had weekly planning and conducted a District Inventory.  Which i always get to narorate because i guess i have a good voice....? I have it all on video.

Then we went and got some sandwhiches, the whole district, at togos... it was alright... We ate outside and its been pretty cold and rainy all week.

Then Elder Goudy and Elder Searcy came with us to do service at the roofing project! It was great, i love doing it!

Then we had dinner with the Bickmores and they took us to Souplantation.  aka Sweet tomatoes.  It was a grand old time as well.

Stopped by the guidos after dinner and picked up some leftovers that they didnt want anymore...

Saturday 11-12-11
It was supposed to be rainy but we prayed that it wouldnt rain much so that we could go do service because we had no idea what we were going to do.... so we basically did roofing from 10 - dinner! It was crazy, but we got A LOT done.  We ate lunch with our service, it was way good. Their kids call me Elder Cronk because i do a good Cronk impression and they call my companion Elder Cowboy, because he's got the southern accent so they think he's a cowboy.  The spanish elders were with us the whole time too because they didnt have anything to do either.

Then we ate dinner with a family in the other ward... it was ok i guess?  And then we had to do an Emergency Toilet paper run! Baha!  So elder Goudy and Searcy picked us up and we made a stop at Target.

Sunday 11-13-11
Same old church BUT WITH A TWIST! Our investigator who we've been trying to get to come to church forever, finally came! it was great! She brought her sister toooooo! She's only 17 so we hooked her up with Thereasa Guido and they hit it off pretty well! And they exchanged numbers and had a way good time! So i think we are making some progress there!

Then we had dinner with the guidos and it was a great time!
